About

Poi Pounder XXVII V2 is the Hawaiian Kids’ 2026 FIRST Robotics Competition robot, built by Team 359. This version combines a full-width sliding intake and expandable hopper with a turret-mounted, single-lane shooter. The shared assembly also includes a climber, showing how the team integrated collection, storage, aiming, and climbing into the V2 design. 2026 season accomplishments: In 2026, the Hawaiian Kids won the Canadian Pacific, Hawaii, and Idaho regionals and finished as Utah Regional finalists. They also earned the Hawaii Regional FIRST Impact Award and were FIRST Impact Award finalists at the FIRST Championship.
